XGAOC'O X'ARE (QHAQHOO)
Born in the early 1970's this quiet young man was only a teenager when he joined the Kuru Art Project in 1991.
The creative possibilities to which he was introduced opened his eyes to a different world. In his 15 years as an artist
he has taken part in many art exhibitions. Qhaqhoo attended school briefly and his knowledge and love of the Kalahari
can be seen in most of his work. He almost always portrays different aspects of the wild Kalahari. He sometimes
likes to include cattle or other domesticated animals in his work, which reflects a simplicity which is peculiar to him.
