TUOI STEFAANS SAMCUIA

Born in the early 1950's at Eenhana, Namibia.  Samcuia's father was a farmer and both parents died when he was a child. 
As a young man he worked on a cattle farm in Okahandja.  Moving back to Eenhana he became a subsistence farmer
 and continued to hunt when possible.  During the 1970's he received his military training at Omega in Namibia. 
He worked for the South African Defence force leaving for Schmidtsdrift in 1990.

"I cannot read or write.  I draw and paint.  That is where people must read my work."
